Pop Up Pub Plus, Ale & Cider Festival, Wickham Market Village

Turner and Taylor Hog & Ale host their own Beer festivals and pop up Pubs in Suffolk.

As the Village and towns lose a pub we are here to help with our pop up pubs, or beer and cider festivals. We have had fantastic success and feedback when we set up these events. It's satisfying for the community to come together and socialise at our many events. If we are not hosting ourselves there will certainly be a Pub that will be, we have our own loyal followers that turn up and support them too. We are always interested to hear of any suggestions for beer festivals in Essex, beer festivals in Norfolk or beer festivals in London.

If you are a Public House, Restaurant, Hotel or venue and require any specialist equipment we supply the racking and remote cooler with insulation jackets and all the relevant pipes and fixings, to keep your ales, ciders and continental beers at the correct temperature for your customers/guests. Prices start from £149 and no job is too big or small, we deliver, collect, set up the equipment, ales and cider and run through the whole process. Helping with the advertising and marketing is also an option as we have various contacts throughout the UK for great festivals.

London Beer City

The first London Beer City will take place 9-16 August, comprising dozens of events at the capital's pubs, bars and breweries. Most of London's best breweries, including Camden Town, Beavertown and Fourpure, will be hosting one-off events, with dinners, talks, special brewery openings, tours and more planned.

Camden go to town
Camden Town Brewery are planning several events including a beer dinner at Caravan in King's Cross, an American day at the brewery's base and something particularly special - planned for the Friday - which is still under wraps.
Fourpure, whose beer is served in Michel Roux Jr's restaurants, will be hosting an open evening at their brewery in Bermondsey on Wednesday 13, with the tap-room bar open and tours of the brewery on offer. Beers from a select group of other London brewers - including Windsor and Eton and Woolwich's Hop Stuff - will also be available.

"London truly is a Beer City with a rich heritage in cask ale, and it's now home to some of the most exciting world-class new breweries," says Fourpure's Dan Lowe. "The upcoming celebration of this incredibly diverse brewing scene is something Fourpure is really excited about being involved in."

Another highlight is the return of the London Craft Beer Festival, which showcases the work of some of the world's best breweries, including Britain's Thornbridge and Magic Rock and, from across the Atlantic, Sierra Nevada and Founder's. It takes place at Oval Space in Bethnal Green over four days, from the 14th of August.

London Beer City organiser Will Hawkes, the current British Beer Writer of the Year and the author of Craft Beer London, says the event will be truly inclusive.
"London Beer City will take the excitement of a big beer festival into every corner of the city," he says. "We're putting together a programme to reach as many people as possible. We want Londoners to discover just how delicious and varied beer can be."
