Advanced Course

The two-day Advanced course takes students into detailed, in-depth study of beer styles - what makes them different, how they develop, how to taste them and beer and food matching. Typically, over 30 beers would be tasted over the 2 days of the course.

The Course covers:
- Contributions of brewing materials and process to flavour
- How to taste beers
- Beer Styles
- Beer and Food Matching
- Beer Presentation
- Ales, porters and stouts

- Lagers, wheat beers and specialities
- Beers of Belgium and Holland

- Beers of Germany and the Czech Republic
- Beers of the World
- Beer and lifestyle
- The beer market

Fee: £240 + VAT per person (discounts for group bookings)
