Beer and Food
Everyone knows you can cook with wine, and guess what, beer is just as versatile when it comes to recipes. The use of an alcoholic drink when cooking has the same effect on food whether the drink is wine, beer or cider. Alcohol helps to increase the tenderness of cooked meats, and as it has a low boiling point is not still present in the finished cooked meal, although all the flavours added will be.
We have asked our patrons to give us any recipes they have developed for cooking with their beers, so these recipes are produced by experts in both the culinary and brewing areas.
